नई दिल्ली: श्री रामलीला महासंघ के प्रेसिडेंट श्री अर्जुन कुमार ने इस दिवाली पर देश विदेश में रिलीज हो रही रणबीर कपूर, सनी देओल यश स्टारर डायरेक्टर नितेश तिवारी की मेगा बजट फिल्म रामायण के मेकर्स को एक पत्र लिखकर मांग की है फिल्म को सिनेमा घरों में रिलीज करने से पूर्व यह फिल्म श्री रामलीला महासंघ के प्रतिनिधि मंडल को दिखाई जाएं ।

नितेश तिवारी ओर फिल्म की प्रोडक्शन कम्पनी को लिखे पत्र में अर्जुन कुमार ने उन्हें याद दिलाया है कि इससे पूर्व भूषण कुमार की मेगा बजट प्रभास, सैफ अली खान स्टारर फिल्म आदिपुरुष के भी कई दृश्यों पर सनातनी और रामलीला मंचन से जुडे लोगों ने कड़ा एतराज जताया था इन दृश्यों में सोने की लंका को काला दिखाना, महाज्ञानी रावण को मंगोल लुटेरो और उनकी सेना को राक्षसों की सेना आदि कई दृश्य थे। जिसका नतीजा बाक्स आफिस पर फिल्म फ्लाप रही । अर्जुन कुमार ने पत्र में आगे कहा है कि हमें मिली अधिकृत जानकारी के अनुसार इस फिल्म में ऐसे कई दृश्य है जो देश विदेश में बसे हिन्दुओं की भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंचा सकते है, ऐसे में श्री रामलीला महासंघ इस फिल्म को रिलीज से पूर्व विशेष शो में देखकर निश्चित करना चाहता है कि अगर फिल्म में ऐसा कोई विवादास्पद सीन अथवा संवाद है तो उसे रिलीज से पहले हटा दिया जाएं उन्होंने फिल्म के मेकर्स को चेतावनी दी है कि अगर ऐसा न किया गया तो दिल्ली सहित अन्य राज्यों के उन सिनेमाघरों के बाहर हिंदू संगठनों के साथ श्री रामलीला महासंघ के हजारों की संख्या में विरोध व धरना प्रदर्शन करेंगे।

New Delhi: The Shri Ramlila Mahasangh has issued a strong warning to the makers of the upcoming mega-budget film Ramayana, directed by and starring , , and .
Shri Arjun Kumar, President of Shri Ramlila Mahasangh, has written a formal letter to the filmmakers demanding that the film be screened for a delegation of the Mahasangh before its theatrical release this Diwali, both in India and overseas.
In his letter addressed to director Nitesh Tiwari and the film’s production company, Arjun Kumar recalled the controversy surrounding the earlier mega-budget film **, produced by and starring and . He pointed out that several scenes in Adipurush had drawn strong objections from members of the Sanatan community and those associated with traditional Ramlila performances. Among the concerns raised were the depiction of Lanka in black instead of gold, and the portrayal of Ravana and his army in a manner that did not align with traditional beliefs. The backlash, he noted, significantly impacted the film’s box office performance.
Arjun Kumar further stated that, according to information received by the Mahasangh, Ramayana may also contain certain scenes that could hurt the sentiments of Hindus living in India and abroad. In light of this, the organization has requested a special preview screening to ensure that any potentially objectionable scenes or dialogues are identified and removed prior to release.
He also warned that if the makers fail to comply with this request, Shri Ramlila Mahasangh, along with various Hindu organizations, will stage protests and demonstrations outside cinema halls in Delhi and other states.
The letter underscores the growing sensitivity around mythological adaptations and the expectations of cultural and religious accuracy among audiences.
