नई स्थित दिल्ली प्रेस क्लब ऑफ इंडिया में आज “एल्गोरिदम एंड एम्बिशन: फ्रॉम कैंपस टू सी-सूट” पुस्तक का भव्य विमोचन किया गया। इस अवसर पर नीति-निर्माताओं, शिक्षाविदों और उद्योग विशेषज्ञों ने भाग लिया और आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) के बढ़ते प्रभाव पर विस्तृत चर्चा की।
मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित सुप्रीम कोर्ट के वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता डॉ. भारत नगर ने अपने संबोधन में AI तकनीक के महत्व पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि AI आधारित टूल्स अब दूर से ही भूमिगत, इमारतों के अंदर और खुले क्षेत्रों में पड़े खतरनाक कचरे (Hazardous Waste) की पहचान कर सकते हैं, वहीं AI रोबोट बिना किसी मानव जोखिम के उसे हटाने और सुरक्षित निपटान में सक्षम हैं।
डॉ. नागर ने कहा कि वर्ष 2013 के कानून और सुप्रीम कोर्ट के स्पष्ट निर्देशों के अनुसार मैनहोल और सीवर में मानव प्रवेश पूरी तरह प्रतिबंधित है। इसके बावजूद अवैध प्रथाएं और ठेका व्यवस्था की खामियां आज भी लोगों की जान जोखिम में डाल रही हैं। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि नगर निकायों को अब मैनुअल लेबर के स्थान पर केवल AI आधारित मशीनों और रोबोट्स का ही उपयोग करना चाहिए।
उन्होंने आगे सुझाव दिया कि खतरनाक कचरे के प्रभावी प्रबंधन के लिए एक विशेष अभियान चलाया जाना चाहिए। यह कचरा ठोस, तरल या गैस के रूप में हो सकता है, जो मानव स्वास्थ्य और पर्यावरण के लिए गंभीर खतरा पैदा करता है। इसके सुरक्षित प्रबंधन, उपचार और निपटान के लिए आधुनिक AI तकनीक अत्यंत आवश्यक है, जो किसी भी स्थान—चाहे वह जमीन के नीचे हो या खुले क्षेत्र में—कचरे की पहचान कर सकती है और उसे बिना किसी मानव हस्तक्षेप के संभाल सकती है।
डॉ. नागर ने यह भी जानकारी दी कि उत्तर प्रदेश और गुजरात में कुछ कंपनियों ने इस दिशा में कार्य शुरू कर दिया है, जो AI तकनीक के माध्यम से खतरनाक कचरे के प्रबंधन का सफल मॉडल प्रस्तुत कर रही हैं।
इस अवसर पर अन्य वक्ताओं ने भी AI के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों—शिक्षा, शासन और उद्योग—में बढ़ते उपयोग पर अपने विचार साझा किए और इसे भविष्य की आवश्यकता बताया।

The hosted the launch of the book “Algorithm and Ambition: From Campus to C-Suite”, bringing together policymakers, academicians, and industry leaders for an engaging discussion on the growing impact of artificial intelligence.
Addressing the gathering, Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court, Dr. , emphasized the transformative potential of AI in tackling hazardous waste management. He stated that AI-generated tools can now identify hazardous waste lying underground, within buildings, and across open spaces from a distance, while AI-powered robots can safely remove and dispose of such waste without exposing human workers to risk.
Highlighting legal and safety concerns, Dr. Nagar noted that under the 2013 Act and subsequent Supreme Court judgments, hazardous manual entry into manholes and sewers is strictly prohibited. However, illegal practices and loopholes in contractual systems continue to endanger human lives. He strongly urged municipal bodies to replace manual labor with AI-driven machines and robotic systems.
He further called for a dedicated nationwide drive to address hazardous waste, which includes discarded solid, liquid, or gaseous materials posing serious threats to human health and the environment. Such waste requires specialized handling, treatment, and disposal to prevent contamination. AI technologies, he added, have the capability to detect such waste regardless of its location and ensure safe management without human intervention.
Dr. Nagar also informed that some companies in Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat have already begun implementing AI-based solutions in this domain, setting examples for safer and more efficient waste management practices.
The event also featured insightful remarks from distinguished speakers across governance, academia, and public administration, all highlighting the expanding role of AI in shaping modern institutions and career pathways.
