हिंदी सिनेमा में इन दिनों मध्यवर्गीय परिवारों की कहानियों को बड़े ही रोचक और संवेदनशील अंदाज़ में पेश किया जा रहा है। इसी कड़ी में आई फिल्म ‘उत्तर दा पुत्तर’ एक हल्की-फुल्की लेकिन विचारोत्तेजक फैमिली कॉमेडी है, जो हंसाने के साथ-साथ एक अहम संदेश भी देती है। निर्देशक रविंदर सिवाच की यह फिल्म कर्म और किस्मत के बीच चलने वाली बहस को बेहद मनोरंजक तरीके से सामने लाती है।

In recent times, Hindi cinema has been presenting stories of middle-class families with a refreshing blend of sensitivity and entertainment. Continuing this trend, ‘Uttar Da Puttar’ is a light-hearted yet thought-provoking family comedy that not only entertains but also delivers an important message. Directed by Ravinder Siwach, the film explores the age-old debate between karma and fate in an engaging and humorous manner.
The film is produced by Sandeep Kapoor and Priya Kapoor under the banner of Promodom Motion Pictures. It is written and directed by Ravinder Siwach, based on a story by Sandeep Kapoor.
At the heart of the story is Professor Sai Ram Tuteja (Annu Kapoor), a physics teacher by profession who, ironically, strongly believes in वास्तु (Vastu) and superstitions in his personal life. This contradiction forms the crux of the narrative. The plot takes an interesting turn when the professor finds what he believes to be the ‘perfect Vastu-compliant’ house for his family, but an unexpected incident shakes his belief system. What follows is a journey of self-realization and an effort to restore balance in his life and relationships.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Annu Kapoor, Pavan Malhotra, Rukhsar Rehman, Brijendra Kala, Jiveshu Ahluwalia, Rajendra Sethi, Sumeet Gulati, and Nitin Arora, all of whom bring depth and authenticity to their roles.
Performance-wise, Annu Kapoor once again proves his brilliance, effortlessly balancing comedy and emotional depth.
